Four people were hospitalized, including two children, from a traffic crash involving at least four vehicles on the Antelope Valley (14) Freeway Sunday in Lancaster, authorities said.
The condition of the injured was not immediately known, but the two children were taken to Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, according to a Los Angeles County Fire Department dispatcher.
Firefighters and paramedics were dispatched to the crash scene at 11:28 a.m. The crash on the southbound freeway, north of Avenue M, occurred a little after 11:25 a.m., the California Highway Patrol reported, adding that three vehicles were blocking the on-ramp to the freeway.
All southbound lanes of the freeway shut down at 11:50 a.m. and were re-opened at 12:18 p.m.
