Crews Monday evening were working to clear 30,000 pounds of noodles from the northbound Harbor (110) Freeway in Gardena after a big rig overturned.
The truck overturned about 1:55 p.m. on the freeway near Rosecrans Avenue, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Caltrans District 7 reported that crews were still working to clear the noodles at 8:30 p.m. and were expected to remain at the scene until 10:30 p.m.
The three right lanes of the freeway were closed for the cleanup.
One person was taken to a hospital by the Los Angeles Fire Department, according to the LAFD’s Brian Humphrey, but no information about the patient was available.
