The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County rose one-tenth of a cent Thursday to $4.573, a day after rising seven-tenths of a cent.
The average price is two-tenths of a cent less than one week ago, 16.6 cents less than one month ago and 68.1 cents less than one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service. It has dropped $1.921 since rising to a record $6.494 on Oct. 5, 2022.
The Orange County average price rose one-tenth of a cent to $4.498, a day after rising 1 cent. It is 1.2 cents more than one week ago, 15.7 cents less than one month ago and 71.2 cents less than one year ago. The Orange County average price has dropped $1.961 since rising to a record $6.459 on Oct. 5, 2022.
The national average price dropped three-tenths of a cent to $3.442, a day after rising one-tenth of a cent.
It is 1.3 cents less than one week ago, 7.9 cents less than one month ago and 42 cents less than one year ago. The national average price has dropped $1.574 since rising to a record $5.016 on June 14, 2022.
