A 25-year-old woman who was killed in a hit-and-run crash on a highway in Bellflower was identified Monday.
She was later identified by the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner as Loren Carroll.
She was struck at around 11 p.m. Sunday at Downey Avenue on the 91 Freeway, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The woman was struck by a vehicle while changing a tire facing the highway and died at the scene, officials said.
A description of the vehicle that struck her was not immediately available.
Authorities urged anyone with information regarding the hit-and-run crash to call the CHP.
