Traffic was slowed but not stopped Saturday when a cement truck overturned on an off-ramp from the San Diego (405) Freeway in Sherman Oaks.

The incident occurred at 4:31 p.m. Saturday on the off-ramp from the northbound San Diego Freeway to Sepulveda Boulevard, according to the California Highway Patrol.

All occupants of the cement truck got out of the vehicle, Los Angeles Fire Department spokesman Jamie Stewart said. They were being checked for injuries.

The CHP initially indicated it would shut down northbound lanes to Ventura Boulevard but instead issued a SigAlert at 5:03 p.m., only shutting down the Sepulveda Boulevard/Greenleaf Street off-ramp.
