Los Angeles County Sheriff Robert G. Luna will join sheriff’s personnel from the Altadena Sheriff Station and the Los Angeles County Fire Department to help rebuild a home for a family who was displaced by the Eaton Fire Tuesday in Altadena.
Representatives from the San Gabriel Valley Habitat for Humanity and volunteers will assist first responders with the rebuilding of an Altadena family’s home that burned down in the fire last year.
The joint effort will “highlight the strong partnership between public safety agencies and community organizations working together to help Altadena families recover and rebuild,” the LASD said in a statement.
Luna will be available for interviews along with helping during the rebuild from 1:00 to 3:30 p.m.
