A person was rushed to a hospital Sunday morning after a single-vehicle crash on a freeway transition road in Cerritos, authorities said.
The crash occurred at about 3:40 a.m. Sunday on the transition road linking the northbound San Gabriel River (605) Freeway to the eastbound Artesia (91) Freeway, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The condition of the injured person was not immediately clear.
The vehicle, described as a white Hyundai Elantra, went down the right shoulder embankment of the transition road.
Paramedics rushed the victim to St. Francis Medical Center in Lynwood, the CHP said.
