A 22-year-old suspected of having unlawful sexual intercourse with a minor under 16 years old in Tustin was in custody Wednesday.
Samuel Ostgaard of Silverado turned himself in at the Tustin Police Department at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday after the department released his photo, according to Tustin police.
The sexual act occurred in an open area near Township Drive and Rawlings Way at 8:45 p.m. on Nov. 24, police said.
Ostgaard and his victim met each other through a social media website, police said.
Ostgaard was booked into county jail.
