Authorities Wednesday released the names of two of three victims found in a torched SUV in Orange.

They were identified as 19-year-old Antonio Medina of Glendale, Arizona, and 20-year-old Fernando Meza of Phoenix, Arizona, according to the Orange County Sheriff-Coroner’s Office. The identity of the third victim hasn’t been released.

Police earlier reported they knew the identity of the man in the right- front passenger seat, but were withholding it. He was in his late 20s and lived in Orange, according to Lt. Fred Lopez.

The SUV, already ablaze, rolled onto a sidewalk in front of a home in the 500 block of East Oakmont Avenue near Shaffer Street at 2:18 p.m. Nov. 9.

The driver of the SUV bailed out following a “low-speed” collision. Police are trying to contact the driver to get a clearer picture of what happened, Lopez said.

Police were having trouble identifying who owned the full-sized black SUV, which had not been reported stolen, because of an incomplete paper trail, Lopez said.
