A woman was killed when she was struck by a vehicle in La Habra, authorities said Monday.
The crash was reported in the 700 block of East Whittier Boulevard at 11:20 p.m. Saturday, said La Habra Police.
The woman was taken to UC Irvine Medical Center in Orange where she was pronounced dead at 1:49 a.m. Sunday, according to the Orange County coroner’s office.
She was identified as 54-year-old Deborah Portillo of La Habra, the coroner’s office said.
The involved motorist was not injured, police said. The cause of the crash was under investigation.
