A payday loan business in Buena Park was robbed Tuesday at gunpoint by a suspect who escaped.
The robbery happened about 11:45 a.m. at Check ‘n Go at 8952 Knott Ave., police said.
The robber entered the business, showed employees a handgun and demanded cash before making his getaway, police said.
He was described as black, about 35 to 40 years old, 6 feet tall, with a large build and a mustache. He wore glasses, a black baseball cap with “Five- 11” on the front and a black, zip-up jacket and light-colored jeans.
