Six people found themselves displaced Tuesday following a fire that caused $225,000 in damages to a building serving as a Buddhist temple and housing facility in Garden Grove, authorities said.
The fire was reported at 9:57 p.m. Monday in the 12400 block of Euclid Street, said Garden Grove Fire Capt. Thanh Nguyen. Responding firefighters knocked down the blaze within 10 minutes, he said.

The six adults who escaped the fire were able to do so without injury, Nguyen said. Red Cross volunteers responded to assist the six displaced residents, Nguyen said.
The cause of the fire was under investigation. Damages were estimated at $200,000 to the structure and $25,000 to its contents, Nguyen said.
