Aside from injuries, deaths or serious damage, what would you think could be the worst possible type of vehicle crash for the average drivert?

How about colliding with a CHP black-and-white marked cruiser?

Two people were injured in just that kind of nightmare situation when their vehicle collided with a California Highway Patrol cruiser in Santa Ana.

The CHP officer was not injured.

The collision occurred at 10:10 p.m. Wednesday at Fourth Street and Cabrillo Park Drive, according to the Orange County Register.

Paramedics were called to treat the injured victims, Santa Ana police Sgt. Michelle Miller told the newspaper.

The cause was under investigation by the CHP.
