One person suffered injuries related to smoke inhalation in a fire that broke out in an assisted living facility in Anaheim.

It wasn’t known if the injured person was a resident or staff member, but it may have been difficult to help disabled people from the structure.

The fire was reported  in a second-floor unit at La Palma Royale, 525 W. La Palma Ave., according to the Anaheim Fire Department communications supervisor.

The fire was knocked down 25 minutes later in the overnight blaze Thursday, he said.

No other injuries were reported but information about where the residents would live was not immediately available.
