A 33-year-old man has pleaded not guilty to sexually assaulting two female relatives when they were 5 to 11 years old in Santa Ana.
Salvador Maldonadonajera was charged with 15 felony counts of sexually assaulting the girls from late 2013 through July of this year, according to court records.
The alleged assaults were reported to officials at the school they attend, and school officials called police, according to the Orange County District Attorney’s Office.
The defendant Monday was ordered to return to court Sept. 20 for a pretrial hearing.
