A “minor” driver lost control of his vehicle in San Clemente and struck two “minor” pedestrians near a parked vehicle, critically injuring one of them, sheriff’s officials said Monday.
The driver was uninjured and the other pedestrian suffered minor injuries, according to an Orange County Sheriff’s Department public information officer.
The crash occurred at approximately 9 p.m. Sunday in the 3000 block of Eminencia Del Sur, where the driver stayed at the crash scene.
“At this time, it does not appear that the driver was impaired and he was not arrested at the scene,” the department said.
