An eight-day streak of decreases that dropped the average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County to its lowest amount since Jan. 20, 2018, ended Friday with an increase of 1.3 cents to $3.271.

The average price dropped 5 cents during the streak, including six-tenths of a cent on Thursday, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service. It is 2.9 cents less than one week ago, 11.2 cents lower than one month ago and 16.6 cents below what it was one year ago.

An eight-day streak of decreases that dropped the Orange County average price to its lowest amount since Jan. 20, 2018, also ended Friday with an increase of 2.4 cents to $3.251. It also had dropped 5 cents during the streak, including three-tenths of a cent on Thursday.

The Orange County average price is 1 cent less than one week ago, 9 cents lower than one month ago and 16.2 cents below what it was one year ago.
