Authorities reached out to the public Wednesday for help locating an 82-year-old man missing for over a week.
Earnest Lee George was last seen at around 4 p.m. on April 7 near North Apple Avenue and Ayala Drive in Rialto, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Officials issued a Silver Alert in San Bernardino, Los Angeles and Orange counties for George. He was described as a 5-feet-4-inch tall man weighing 130 pounds with gray hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing an orange sweatshirt and blue jeans.
Authorities believe he is on foot. Anyone with information regarding his whereabouts was urged to call 911.
The Silver Alert program was established by the CHP to issue and coordinate alerts involving the unexplained or suspicious disappearances of elderly, developmentally disabled or cognitively impaired individuals.
