The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County dropped Sunday for the 12th time in the last 13 days, declining a half-cent to $4.834.
The average price is 3.8 cents less than one week ago, 17.8 cents more than one month ago and 55.5 cents less than one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and the Oil Price Information Service. It has dropped $1.66 since rising to a record $6.494 on Oct. 5, 2022.
The Orange County average price increased two-tenths of a cent to $4.778, ending a streak of 13th consecutive decreases. The Orange County average price is 3.5 cents less than one week ago, 16.1 cents more than one month ago and 55.5 cents less than one year ago. It has dropped $1.681 since rising to a record $6.459 on Oct. 5, 2022.
The national average price declined four-tenths of a cent to $3.151, its 14th decrease in the last 15 days. The national average price is 3.8 cents less than one week ago, 3 cents more than one month ago and 52.5 cents less than one year ago. It has dropped $1.865 since rising to a record $5.016 on June 14, 2022.
