A vehicle fire in Desert Hot Springs Tuesday spread to a nearby structure before firefighters got the upper hand.
The non-injury blaze was reported at 11:22 a.m. in the area of Aurora and Corkill roads and was fully contained about 30 minutes later, according to the Riverside County Fire Department.
A half-dozen engine crews responded and encountered a vehicle fully ablaze. It was not immediately clear what type of structure caught fire or the extent of the damage it sustained.
A county fire spokeswoman said cable lines were also damaged due to the fire. Spectrum crews were called to the scene.
