One person was injured Tuesday in a residential garage fire in La Quinta.
The Riverside County Fire Department responded to a garage on fire in the 52000 block of Avenida Herrera at around 2 p.m.
According to the fire department, one person had minor injuries and did not require hospitalization.
A building inspector was requested to the scene at about 3 p.m., according to the fire department.
The cause of the fire was being investigated.
