Mostly sunny skies are expected in Riverside County this week after the showers and thunderstorms from the weekend, according to the National Weather Service.

Sunday’s high temperatures in the county were predicted to range from the 60s in the mountains to the 80s in the Coachella Valley.

According to the NWS, the weather will remain dry this week with temperatures lingering in the 80s for most of the county.

Coachella Valley is expected to reach 90 degrees on Wednesday and Thursday, making it the hottest days for the area.

Temperatures will drop the most next Saturday, with a high of 70 degrees expected in Temecula, 75 degrees in Riverside, 76 degrees in Hemet, and 86 degrees in Coachella Valley and Palm Springs.
