At least one person was killed in a multi-vehicle crash that left one vehicle overturned Friday evening on State Road 111 (Palm Canyon Drive) in Palm Springs.
The crash took place on the northbound state road just north of Angel Canyon Drive, according to the California Highway Patrol.
A second vehicle went off the road into nearby bushes, the CHP said.
There’ s no word yet on the gender and age of the victim .The victim’s name was withheld pending notification of next of kin.
The victim apparently died at the scene.
