Palm Springs will host its 27th annual Veterans Day parade Monday with the theme “Honoring All Who Served.”

The parade is scheduled to begin at 3:30 p.m. Monday at the intersection of Palm Canyon Drive and Ramon Road, continuing north for about one hour to Alejo Road, according to city officials.

After the parade, the 300th Army Reserve Band will take part in a “patriotic concert.”

Palm Springs is among 66 cities nationwide designated by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs as regional sites for the observance of Veterans Day, according to city event coordinator Michele Cirone-Collier, who directed street closures and the lineup for the parade.

“Our military put their lives on the line for us and their families,” Cirone-Collier said in a 2023 interview with the city. “I think we have a responsibility to honor them.”

A fireworks display will follow the show.
