The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Riverside County was unchanged Sunday at $4.66, ending a run of 11 decreases in 12 days totaling 9.2 cents.
The average price is 5 cents less than one week ago, 12.4 cents more than one month ago and 63.2 less than one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and the Oil Price Information Service. It has dropped $1.713 since rising to a record $6.373 on Oct. 5, 2022.
The national average price dropped four-tenths of a cent to $3.149, decreasing for the third consecutive day. It is two-tenths of a cents less than one week ago, six-tenths of a cent less than one month ago and 50.9 cents less than one year ago. It has dropped $1.867 since rising to a record $5.016 on June 14, 2022.
