Johnson began play Sunday with a one-stroke lead over fellow Americans Cameron Tringale and Pat Perez and increased his lead to five strokes by shooting a bogey-free 7-under-par 64 in the third round.
Wesley Bryan moved into second with the lowest round of the week, an 8- under-par 63. Bryan began Sunday’s play tied for 20th, six strokes off the lead
Johnson wrapped up his 13th PGA Tour victory with a final-round even-par 71 and completed the tournament at 17-under-par. Belgian Thomas Pieters and American Scott Brown tied for second.
Bryan dropped into a four-way tie for fourth, six strokes off the lead, with a 1-over-par 72.
Johnson received $1.26 million and a Genesis G90 luxury sedan for the victory.
Johnson was assured of moving into first in the Official World Golf Ranking if he won the tournament and Australian Jason Day finished worse than a two-way tie for third.
Day finished Sunday in a three-way tie for 64th at 2-over-par 286, 19 strokes off the lead.
