Los Angeles police asked for the public’s help to identify a hit-and-run driver who fatally injured a pedestrian Sunday in Los Angeles near the border of Culver City.
The crash happened around 1:15 a.m. Sunday on Venice Boulevard east of Robertson Boulevard, the LAPD reported.
The man who was hit was transported to a hospital, where he later died. His name was withheld pending notification of next of kin.
The driver fled in an unknown direction and police have no description of the car and/or the driver.
A city reward of up to $50,000 is available for anyone who provides information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the driver.
