A Silver Alert was activated Friday for a 67-year-old man last seen in North Hollywood.
Percy Harris was last seen around 9 a.m. Thursday near Laurel Canyon Boulevard and Vanowen Street, according to the California Highway Patrol, which activated the alert on behalf of the Los Angeles Police Department.
Harris was described as a 5-foot-10-inch-tall man weighing 175 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.
He was last seen wearing a plaid shirt, blue jeans, and black shoes.
Anyone with information about Harris’ whereabouts was urged to call 911.
The CHP activates a Silver Alert when an elderly or developmentally or cognitively impaired person goes missing and is determined to be at-risk to help them be recovered more quickly.
