LAPD Wilshire Station detectives Tuesday released security video of suspects wanted in a pair of unrelated burglaries, one of which netted about $200,000 worth of items from an auto body shop.

On Sept. 21, between 1:30 and 4 a.m., A.W. Collision in the 1700 block of South La Cienega Boulevard was burglarized. Three men entered the auto body shop by prying open the rear gate and cutting a lock.

“Once inside, they pried several doors and cabinets open to take tools and other mechanical equipment,” according to a Los Angeles Police Department statement.

The men were described as black, 40-55 years old and weighing about 175 pounds. Two were about 6 feet tall, and one was about 6-foot-2.

On Sept. 13 about 2:40 a.m., a man burglarized the Parabellum boutique in the 8200 block of Melrose Avenue.

“The suspect is seen looking inside the boutique … (and) he then uses a sledge hammer to smash the display window,” police said. “Using an industrial-size dry cleaning bag, the suspect goes around the store, stuffing (the bag) with purses and other merchandise.”

Fifteen purses — each valued at about $2,500 — were taken, police said.

The man is described as black, 40-50 years old, about 6-foot-3 and weighing 260 pounds.

Anyone with information on either crime was urged to call Detective Stacie French at (213) 922-8205, or (877) LAPD-247.
