A male was wounded in the neck and back Saturday in a shooting in the Vermont Knolls area of Los Angeles.
It was reported at 1:43 p.m. at Normandie Avenue and 80th Street, said Officer Drake Madison of the Los Angeles Police Department’s Media Relations Section.
The suspect fled in a blue SUV, Madison said.
No further details were available, including the age and condition of the victim.
