A 61-year-old man who went missing was found safe Saturday after a three-day collaborative search between the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department and several other county and state rescue teams.
The man was reported missing from the 38000 block of Overton Road in Sage at around 1 a.m. Wednesday, according to the sheriff’s department.
A search operation was immediately launched due to the unknown circumstances of his disappearance, and it continued for three days.
Rescue teams from Orange, San Diego and San Bernardino counties collaborated in the search along with the Riverside Mountain Rescue Unit and Desert Search and Rescue among others.
The search concluded Saturday and the unidentified man was reunited with his family. The location where the man was found was not disclosed.
