A three-legged miniature poodle once saved in China by a Los Angeles rescue organization needs help again — she went missing in the Larchmont area near Paramount Studios after escaping from a neighborhood backyard, the dog’s worried owner said Tuesday.

“Pita,” a 3-year-old white poodle missing her right hind leg, was last seen around 8:30 p.m. Monday near Melrose Avenue and Irving Boulevard after slipping under a backyard gate and running south along Irving toward Clinton Street, said owner Alex Felix — who has posted flyers in the area and is hoping some good Samaritan can reunite the two.

The dog is micro-chipped but slipped out of her collar while going under the gate, Felix said.

“There was a potential sighting 1.5 miles south near Westminister and 4th with her heading east,” Felix posted on her Instagram page — along with a warning that the while dog is gentle, she’s also skittish and “very scared,” so would likely flee from a potential rescuer.

“Please don’t chase (just) send cross streets instead,” the social-media post says.

“Please call, text or DM with any info. We love her so much and just want her home and safe.”

Felix can be reached at 916-642-3043 or instagram.com/itsalexfelix/ — which also contains a photo of the missing dog.

Pita was brought to the U.S. from China last year by the Los Angeles-based rescue organization Yogi’s House, which specializes in saving dogs ticketed for euthanasia at overcrowded shelters. The group has also taken part in numerous rescues in China, where an estimated 10 million dogs are killed annually for meat, according to activists — though the eating of dog meat is not mainstream and is officially illegal in China.
