Nearing a half-million views Wednesday, the day it was posted to YouTube, the single-song video “Sorry” by Beyoncé has triggered debate.

“Here comes the ‘I miss the old Beyoncé comments,’” said one, but another remarked: “The queen is back.”
Said a third: “People keep saying that Beyonce isn’t the same and she’s changed so much. Are you the same person you were 15 years ago? 10 years ago? Even 5 years ago?”
Others noted the scary black-and-white motif: “This looks like a trailer for the next season of American horror story.”
While still others bragged to be among the first to view the video:
“B4 ONE MILLION CLUB!!!!”
“If You Were Here Before 5 Million Views Like This … Because You Are Special”
“Sorry” was written and produced by Wynter Gordon, Sean “Melo-X” Rhoden and Beyoncé and was released to radio as “Lemonade’s” second single on May 3, 2016.
“The song’s lyrics refer to a possible betrayal of the singer’s companion with a woman who is referred to as ‘Becky,'” noted Wikipedia. “The song’s music video is part of a one-hour film with the same title as its parent album, Lemonade, which originally aired on HBO.”
