A pickup truck hauling vehicles via a trailer overturned Thursday on an on-ramp to Interstate 15 in Eastvale, damaging the vehicles and forcing closure of the ramp.
The rollover was reported just before 2 p.m. Thursday at the westbound Cantu-Galleano Ranch Road connector to southbound I-15, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The agency said that a heavy-duty Dodge Ram pickup with a 50-foot trailer carrying three cars went over on its side while attempting to turn onto the entrance ramp.
No other motorists were involved.
The pickup driver extricated himself, uninjured, the CHP said.
The vehicles remained on the overturned trailer, sustaining various damage, according to reports from the scene.
CHP officers shut down the ramp, and a SigAlert was issued at 2:30 p.m. because of the closure.
As of 3:30 p.m., the CHP was still working on tow trucks to remove the pickup and the three cars.
