The body of a 64-year-old woman was found in open space behind a San Jacinto business, but there were no indications of anything suspicious, authorities said Wednesday.
The remains of Robyn Bernard of San Jacinto were located by passers-by in a field at about 4 a.m. Tuesday near the intersection of Commonwealth and San Jacinto avenues, according to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department.
Patrol deputies were called to the location and conducted a preliminary investigation.
“There was no evidence of foul play,” sheriff’s Sgt. Deirdre Vickers said.
It was unclear why or exactly how long Bernard had been at the location.
Vickers said the investigation was ongoing.
