Five people were rushed to a hospital after a three-vehicle crash in Aguanga Saturday.
The crash was reported around 3:35 p.m. Saturday on southbound Highway 79 west of Sage Road, according to the Riverside County Fire Department.
At least one person was trapped after the crash, the fire department reported.
Two people were rushed to a hospital by air ambulance with serious injuries. Three others were taken to a hospital by ground ambulance, two of them with moderate injuries and one with minor injuries, according to the department.
The cause of the crash was not immediately known.
The California Highway Patrol Border Division assumed the investigation.
