A man was killed Saturday when his vehicle went over an embankment in Soledad Canyon, in the Santa Clarita area.
The crash was reported at 5:46 p.m. Saturday around Soledad Canyon and Agua Dulce Canyon roads, California Highway Patrol Officer Sean Lough told City News Service.
It was reported the man was ejected from the vehicle and he was pronounced dead at the scene, Lough said.
It was unclear if he was the sole occupant.
A news videographer at the scene said the vehicle was an older-model passenger van that crashed into a hillside.
