A woman tried to hold up a US Bank branch inside a Vons supermarket fled Tuesday, but fled when a teller refused to give her any cash.
The robbery attempt occurred at 10:30 a.m. at 5671 Kanan Road in Agoura Hills, said a sergeant at the Malibu-Lost Hills Sheriff’s Station.
The suspect, who presented a teller with a demand note, fled on foot after failing to get any money, he said.
She was described as an Hispanic woman in her 40s with dark hair and blond highlights.
