Authorities Tuesday identified a man who fatally wounded himself in an apparently accidental shooting at a firing range in La Puente.
The shooting was reported at the La Puente Firing Range in the 16400 block of East Valley Boulevard around 10:20 p.m. Monday, Los Angeles County sheriff’s Lt. Alex Canchola said.
“It appears to be accidental,” Canchola said.
Ning Pan, 29, of Walnut died at the scene, said coroner’s Assistant Chief Ed Winter.
