A 53-year-old man was shot and wounded in the Gramercy Park section of South Los Angeles on Sunday by an in-law with whom he was involved in some kind of family dispute, police said.
The shooting happened about 4:35 p.m. at the intersection of Gramercy Place and 96th Street, according to Officer Mike Lopez of the Los Angeles Police Department‘s Media Relations Section.
The man was taken to a hospital, where he was in stable condition, Lopez said.
Police know the identity of the suspected shooter, who remained at large this afternoon, Lopez said.
