A gunman shot and killed one man and wounded another in a parking lot in Norwalk.
The condition of the second man was not immediately known, said Deputy Tony Moore of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
The two men were standing in a parking lot with some other people in the 14700 block of Gridley Road when a gunman approached them about 9:30 p.m. Saturday and began firing, Moore said. Paramedics pronounced one man dead at the scene.
The suspect fled on foot to a waiting dark-colored sedan. The car was last seen going southbound on Gridley Road and out of view, he said.
