Police Thursday asked for the public’s help in locating a 55-year-old Manhattan Beach woman with Alzheimer’s disease who disappeared from the Los Angeles County Museum of Art.
The highly educated professional now functions at the developmental stage of a 4-year-old.
Nancy Paulikas was last seen about 3 p.m. Oct. 15 at the museum at 5905 Wilshire Blvd., according to Manhattan Beach police.
She is white, 5 feet 7 inches tall, about 140 pounds, with a thin build, light complexion, brown-gray hair and blue eyes. She last was seen wearing a red long-sleeve blouse with a white paisley-flower pattern, blue jeans and navy blue sneakers.

Paulikas is in good health and able to walk long distances without tiring, but does not communicate well, according to Manhattan Beach police Detective Paul Ford. The highly-educated, once accomplished professional’s condition has left her at the developmental stage of a 4-year-old, Ford said.
Paulikas’ family has established two tip lines — (310) 567-6594 and (310) 567-6396 — for anyone with information regarding her whereabouts.
