A 17-year-old girl who may not have been wearing a seat belt was killed and three other people were injured when their vehicle crashed and rolled over in Sun Valley, police said Friday.
The girl, whose name was not immediately released, was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene, the Los Angeles Police Department reported. There was no official word is she had been wearing a seat belt.
The vehicle’s other occupants were taken to a hospital, where their conditions were not immediately made public.
The accident was reported around 10:20 p.m. Thursday near the intersection of Tujunga Canyon Boulevard and Pali Avenue, police said.
