Police were asking for help Friday with finding a 15-year-old girl who went missing on April 6, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
Merari Flores was last seen leaving a fast-food restaurant at about 8 p.m. in the area of Nordhoff Street and Van Nuys Boulevard, juvenile detectives said in a release.
Flores had left her home after a dispute with her parents. He father approached her as she left the restaurant but Flores ran, possibly getting on a public bus heading southbound on Van Nuys Boulevard.
Flores is Hispanic with long brown hair and brown eyes. She is 5 feet-2 inches tall, a large build, weighing about 130 pounds. On the night she fled her father, she was wearing blue jeans, a blue and white striped sweater and black boots.
