A pedestrian who was struck and killed by a hit-and- run vehicle in Bellflower was identified Tuesday as a 60-year-old Redondo Beach man.
Mario Alvarado died at the scene of the collision, which was reported at 8:32 p.m. Sunday in the 13400 block of Lakewood Boulevard, according to coroner’s Assistant Chief Ed Winter.
No suspect or vehicle information was released by the sheriff’s department.
