A pedestrian killed in a hit-and-run crash as she crossed a street in the Mid City area of Los Angeles was identified Thursday.
Samantha White, 36, died at the scene of her injury, which occurred about 5 a.m. Tuesday near Crenshaw and Washington boulevards, according to the coroner’s office and the Los Angeles Police Department. Her hometown was not known.
