
Two men have been arrested in connection with a series of recent early morning thefts from motor vehicles in Burbank, police said Friday.
Officers sent to the 700 block of Priscilla Lane about 2:30 a.m. Tuesday detained two men who were seen in the neighborhood looking into parked cars with flashlights, according to Burbank Police Sgt. Derek Green.

“The investigation led to the discovery of numerous items of personal property belonging to other people in their possession, including identification and credit cards,” Green said. “The men also had several tools which, based on the circumstances, were likely used in the commission of burglary and theft crimes.”
Niryn Mitchell, 19, and Timothy Montgomery, 20, both of Los Angeles were arrested and booked on suspicion of various offenses, including receiving stolen property, possessing credit cards of another without that person’s consent, and possessing burglary tools.
