
A fire damaged a carport and a number of vehicles Friday at an apartment complex in Inglewood, but no one was hurt.
Firefighters sent to the 10200 block of South Doty Avenue shortly before 3 a.m. extinguished the flames in about a half-hour, the county fire department reported.
The cause of the fire was under investigation. A damage estimate was not immediately available.
A person was detained for questioning as a possible arson suspect, according to reports from the scene.
