The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Saturday circulated a photo of a 20-year-old woman who went missing in the unincorporated Willowbrook community of Los Angeles County.
Maya Newsom, who has a mental health condition, was last seen on May 26 at about 3 p.m., in the 13200 block of Avalon Boulevard, according to the Sheriff’s Information Bureau.
Newsom was described as a 5-feet-8-inch tall Latina weighing 120 pounds with long brown curly hair with hazel eyes. She was last seen wearing a blue/gray shirt, gray shorts and brown shoes.
Authorities said she is known to frequent MacArthur Park in the Pico-Union area of Los Angeles.
