Police Tuesday released surveillance video in the hope of getting the public’s help in identifying suspects involved in three early morning armed robberies and an attempted robbery at a Garden Grove adult bookstore.
“Since March 20 … there have been three armed robberies and one attempted armed robbery at the Garden of Eden adult bookstore located at 12061 Garden Grove Blvd.,” according to Garden Grove police Lt. Carl Whitney. “During the robberies, a male suspect entered the business and threatened the clerk with a semi-automatic handgun. The suspect took cash and fled the location on foot.”
The other robberies occurred on May 16, June 1 and the attempted robbery occurred on June 12, Whitney said.
During the June 1 robbery, one of the male suspects loitered in front of the business and was seen standing next to a female who may have acted as a lookout.
In the June 12 attempted robbery, one of the males covered his face and threatened the clerk with a handgun before leaving without getting any money, Whitney said.
Both male suspects are described as Hispanic, 25-30 years old with visible tattoos. The female is described as white and also 25-30 years old. She work prescription glasses and hand visible tattoos on her legs.
All of the suspects should be considered armed and dangerous. Anyone with information regarding their identities was urged to call (714) 741-5836 to speak with Detective Jim Franks.
